Niederelbe Huette chalet – intermediate tour – 6 to 7 hours
Follow the road from Kappl to the hamlet of Ulrich. Turn right into the alley before House Alpenheim. Here a footpath begins that leads to a little chapel. The trail leads you through the Fatlartal valley past the picturesque Lake Riepasee to the Kieler high-altitude trail. After a short while you will reach Gseßgrad ridge, from where you can see the Niederelbe Huette chalet.
Waterfall – Versingalpe – Medrigalm Alpine pasture - easy tour - 3 hours
This tour to one of the beautiful Alpine huts in Tyrol begins at the parish church in See. From here a road takes you to the hamlet of Schaller where you turn right into a logging road. After a short while you will reach the waterfall. You will hear the roaring water from a distance. After a short while you will reach a fork in the road - keep left. After some time you will reach the Schallerbach mountain river. Follow the river until you get to the Versingalpe Alpine pasture.
Take the opportunity to taste tangy cheeses, traditional Alpine butter or a glass of fresh milk during a well-deserved rest while the cows graze around you during your hiking holidays in Tyrol.
Wiesbadner Huette chalet (via Radsattel ridge) – intermediate tour – 4 hours
Follow the valley hiking trail from Galtuer to the Silvretta High Alpine Road (there is a fee for motorists) and continue towards Bielerhoehe mountain pass. A trail on your left leads to the Bieltal valley along the dam. Follow this trail to the mountain river and further into the Bieltal valley. Hairpin bends take you through the valley to Radsattel ridge at 2,652 metres above sea level, and then down to the Wiesbadner Huette chalet, one of the many rustic Alpine huts in Tyrol. The views of awe-inspiring summits such as Piz Buin mountain (3,312m) or Silvrettahorn mountain (3,244m) and the Ochstal glacier will make this hiking tour unforgettable.
Friedrichshafener Huette chalet - intermediate tour – 2 hours
Start your hiking expedition to the mountain chalet at the Mehrzweckhaus in Ischgl and head towards Piel and the parking lot of the Friedrichshafener Huette chalet. Either follow the road or the footpath to the chalet. Why not venture further from there to Grieskogel mountain? The views of the Alpine summits towering more than 3,000 metres above sea level are well worth the effort and will be a highlight of your hiking holidays in Tyrol!
