Since the introduction of the Optional Area Pass in winter 1997/1998 the Kappl mountain lift system has continuously improved the range in order to increase comfort and ease of transportation in the ski area. As a guest in Kappl you will find everything you’ll need during your holiday in the family-friendly ski area.

The new Flaxi village at lake Silbersee is a wonderfully natural experience for families.
In the newly designed wooden huts, children and their parents can learn about the regional forest dwellers.

Exchanged the practice lift “Hirschenbad” with the new 200m long and roofed chair lift.
Became a member of the “Tyrolean Snow Card”
Increased the Sunny Mountain Restaurant by approx. 200 seats
Created the professional Funpark in the area “Alblitt”

Created an alpine herb and stone garden at the Sunny Mountain Restaurant – a special experience for summer guests and locals.
This unique experience of nature’s alpine fauna and flora within the stunning mountain panorama was designed to fascinate our visitors.
Designed of the Dias-Motto-Circular-Route with various interesting stations like “The Swabian children”, “Chapels”, “Fence shapes”, “The mountain meadow”, ...
For our youngest guests we started offering a petting zoo at the old Dias Alpe (around 5 minutes away from the Sunny Mountain Adventure Park).
2008/2009
Creation of the toboggan run. Tobogganing to your hearts content between 7.00pm and 9.00pm. The toboggan evening ticket is valid for the whole evening.
Expansion of the children’s area toward the reservoir pond with two new magic carpets and the children’s piste “Flaxiabfahrt”
Expansion of the car park
Increase in the amount of snow cannons
Became a member of the “Leisure Ticket Tyrol”

The Alblitt cable car conveniently takes you up to 2,300 metres above sea level. Open on Sundays from 9.00am to 11.00am.
