Due to the current situation in connection with the Corona virus, an early season end was decided on March 14, 2020

Dear Visitors,

The Corona virus infection has created an exceptional situation across the globe, one which has not been seen before. In the past weeks measures to stem the Corona virus have continually changed and been stepped up around the world, so too in Tirol and Ischgl. These days, our thoughts are very special for everyone suffering from COVID-19. We wish a speedy recovery!

We can guarantee that we in Ischgl have taken the measures specified and have been in discussions with state and federal authorities. We – and the authorities at state and federal level – are of course reliant upon assertions and estimations from experts. And we must recognise worldwide that what is known about this virus changes and broadens every day. The assessments and recommendations from experts and authorities are changing too. All the measures that have been recommended and/or prescribed by the authorities, have been and will be implemented immediately in Ischgl.

From the closure of food businesses, hotels and other accommodation providers, as well as the entire ski area, to the departure of guests and the implementation of quarantining for guests, employees and locals in the town. We have been instructed to take all these steps by the state authorities.

We are currently coordinating the departure of employees from other countries in the EU with embassies, consulates and all the authorities and ministries involved.

We will of course analyse procedures and clarify what could have been done better, so we can learn for the future. For now, what we all need to do is conquer this virus, become and remain healthy again and gradually find our way back to our usual, much-loved way of life.

demonstrate our strengths in cohesion and in dealing with unusual situations. Health is our highest

that we take care of each other and support each other.

Therefore, the request to reduce social contacts to an absolute minimum and not to leave your own
