Snow-shoe hiking in the Tyrol Alps

White, splendid snow-covered landscapes in the small towns in Kappl are waiting to be discovered. Snow-shoe hiking is an ideal way to re-energise and to recover from the stress and hectic pace of day-to-day life. The Paznaun - Ischgl tourism association provides a weekly programme of events for holiday-makers which includes snow-shoe hikes.

With snow-shoes on your feet you head out on the untracked routes through this white winter landscape. Snow-shoe hiking is a popular alternative to the classic winter sports such as skiing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing, and also has adventures in store for children.
