Bee educational trail

Hike, explore and learn: The educational bee trail in the Paznaun valley is the perfect way to do all three at the same time. The picturesque hiking trail in Kappl is not just great for hobby hikers and nature lovers, it’s also popular with animal lovers of all ages. And rightly so! After all, there’s plenty to learn along the way about one of the most useful and fascinating insects of all: the honeybee.

Information boards along the path provide information about the life of honeybees.

The highlight of the trail: the bee house at the end. It provides in-depth knowledge on the topic of bees and bee-keeping – from honeycombs to bee products.

The bee trail in a nutshell:
Start: at the parking (Kohlplatz) lot opposite the Valley station Bergbahn Kappl
Route: along the Visnitz forest trail up to the bee house and back
Distance: approx. 700 meters
Duration: approx. 15 - 30 min
