The
trail branches off to the right from the forest road and follows the Milbach
stream, crossing two small bridges and passing a fire pit. As a natural
alternative to the built Duty Free Laret Trail, this section offers varied
riding fun with flowing passages and rocky sections. At Alpstein, the trail
rejoins the forest road. After a short section on the forest road, another
trail section begins straight ahead. This part is often damp, but for
experienced riders it is a worthwhile alternative to the forest road. Towards
the end, the trail becomes very steep and narrow before crossing the Milbach
stream and leading back to the forest road. Good brake control and a stable
position on the bike are required on this section.
