Central Europe is experiencing prolonged high pressure. At the same time, very mild air masses from the Atlantic are finding their way to the Alps. The result is not only very pleasant and calm weather but also a period that is significantly warmer than usual for this time of year. The peak of this high-altitude warming will be reached between Tuesday and Wednesday when the frost line will be close to 3500 meters above sea level. High veil clouds will continue to mark this rise in temperature. For the rest of the week, however, bright sunshine in a flawless blue sky will dominate the weather. Clouds, on the other hand, will be the absolute exception.
