Over the weekend, the high-pressure system over northeastern Europe will extend to the Alps and continue to determine the weather on Sunday. Apart from a few harmless clouds, there will be plenty of sunshine again. The sunny and pleasant weather will continue at the start of the new week. Temperatures will remain moderately cold for winter. But that will change, as a southerly wind will pick up on Monday. On Tuesday, the southerly foehn will increase significantly in strength. With a mix of sun and clouds, temperatures will rise significantly. Towards Wednesday, the southerly foehn will weaken somewhat but will continue to determine the weather for us and push a frontal system approaching from the south towards the east. This means that the weather will remain dry, with the sun continuing to play a role in the weather conditions. On Thursday, we will remain on the slightly foehn-like front of a low-pressure system over the Atlantic. This means that the weather will hardly change. There will continue to be a mix of dense cloud fields and some sunshine.
