How’s the weather?
We will continue to experience a slight foehn-like and thus southerly flow that is too mild for the season over the weekend and at the start of the new week. There will still be no significant weather events, with a pleasant mix of sunshine and harmless clouds continuing. The low-pressure system responsible for the southerly flow will move into the central Mediterranean region by the middle of next week. At the same time, the high-pressure system over Eastern Europe will shift towards Scandinavia, causing the flow between these two weather systems to turn east to northeast around Christmas and bringing in much colder air than recently. Even though, as things stand at present, a few snowflakes cannot be completely ruled out on the night of 24 to 25 December, the chances of significant snowfall will remain low for the moment. We will continue to enjoy pleasant weather with a mix of sunshine and clouds.
